On the night of May 5 to the morning of May 6, the operative situation on NKR –Azerbaijani line of contact remained unchanged. The enemy violated the verbal cease fire agreement on the line of contact of confronting armies on NKR – Azerbaijani troops mostly with infantry weapons and mortars. They also used 82 mm mortars and anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade launcher (RPG-7).
The vanguard units of the Defense Army continued with their military duty showed restraint and resort to retaliatory actions only in case of need.
