On 27 April, Arman Mkrtumyan, the Chairman of the RA Court of Cassation received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China in Armenia H.E. Mr. Tian Erlong.
Ambassador Erlong expressed his gratitude for the reception of the Chairman of the RA Court of Cassation and emphasized that during the past years relations between the judicial systems of Armenia and China have greatly intensified and entered a new stage.
During the meeting Chairman of the RA Court of Cassation and the Ambassador discussed a number of issues related to the characteristics of the judicial systems of Armenia and China, the powers of different courts, specialization of judges, the courts’ workload, trust in the courts, as well as mechanisms for alternative dispute resolution.
Mr. Tian Erlong, accompanied by the Chairman of the Court of Cassation had a tour in the “Red” and “White” halls and “Mkhitar Gosh” library of the Court of Cassation, and got acquainted with the history of the Court of Cassation.
At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed readiness to deepen cooperation.
