Despite the ceasefire reached between NKR and Azerbaijan on April 5th at 12:00PM, the opposition regularly continues its provocative actions to destabilize the situation, often leading to fatalities. Today at 6:30AM, Marat Danielyan (born 1984 to Rafayel Danielyan), was fatally wounded as a result of the aggressive actions taken by the Azeri forces along the northern line of conflict (Talish).
An investigation is being conducted to better understand the circumstances surrounding this loss.
NKR Defense Ministry shares the grief of this loss and expresses its support for the family, friends, and colleagues of the fallen soldier.
NKR Defense Ministry further stated that the escalation of the situation is entirely the responsibility of the Azeri forces along the frontline.
