On the night of April 17th through the morning of the 18th, on the conflict line of the NKR-Azerbaijan border, the situation remains the same. The enemy violated the cease-fire agreement over 50 times with the use of different caliber weaponry. In the northeastern region (Martakert) they also used 82mm mine throwers (3 projectiles).
As a result of the ceasefire agreement, violations were recorded in two incidents. In the northern region of the conflict zone two soldiers were wounded by gunshots: Erik Matevosyan (born 1991 to Boris Matevosyan), and Azat Barsamyan (born 1996 to Tigran Barsamyan).
In addition to firing weaponry, Azerbaijan attempted a twenty person intelligence penetration in the eastern region (Akna) at 1:00am which was timely discovered by the NKR forces who forced their retreat.
The defense army forces and subdivisions continue to carry out the appropriate military action to monitor the operational situation along the conflict line.
