According to the information of NKR Defense Army, the situation on the whole contact line of NKR – Azerbaijanian forces is extremely tense.
The vanguard units of the Defense Army continue conducting successful defensive battles and causing the enemy heavy losses. Overall during the military operations on the night of April 1 to April 2, the Azerbaijani armed forces suffered more than 200 losses. In the direction of Talish at least 30 soldiers of the special detachment of Azeri forces were killed. In Maradakert direction our forces shot 2 tanks, 2 drones and 1 helicopter in the North. Considerably major collisions occur along the southeastern direction.
The enemy is using armored vehicles, artillery, including MM -21 (“Grad”) type stations, targets not only the military positions but also the peaceful settlements deep in the rear.
In this direction, at 12:30, our anti-aircraft defense shot down one military helicopter and 2 tanks of the enemy.
Unfortunately, during the battles NKR side suffered losses in the heated battles as well. We shall provide information additionally later.
