Naira Zohrabyan, the head of Prosperous Armenia Faction positively assessed Mr. Tatoyan’s candidacy. She said that the faction has not taken a decision to vote unanimously for or against this candidacy. The decision is left to the discretion of each deputy.
The Rule of Law faction was also positive for the nominee of the Republican Party. Heghine Bisharyan said that their party has the same approach to the issue as the Rule of Law Party.
The election of the Ombudsman started at 13:00 and will finish at 14:40.
