On 26 October, at 02:41 it was informed that on Goris-Kapan highway, near the village Karahunj a car fell into a gorge and the rescuers aid was needed. Ministry of Emergency Situations reports about this.
A rescue crew left for the scene.
It was found out that on the 10-km stretch of Goris-Kapan highway, the “Iveco” truck (empty) with license plate of 24 D5 25-10 being driven by Hapib Muhamad born in 1977, who is an Iran citizen, went off the road and fell into the gorge from about 40 meters height, after the accident he died on the spot.
Fire-rescuers took the driver’s body out of the gorge and passed it to the ambulance staff.
