The RA Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan shall introduce a new Draft on Changes in the RA Law on Penitentiary Service at tomorrow’s session of the Government.
Articles 47, 49, 50 and 51 of this law establish the cases, conditions and limits for bearing combat, service and civil defense arms.
The decision 1538-N of 8 September 2005, provides the types, shape, model and number of the special and self defense armed that are necessary for the implementation of the duties by the employee of the correctional service.
The draft is aimed at providing the procedure, order and conditions for keeping and using the provided arms and ammunition by the employee of the correctional service. The adoption of the draft will ensure the procedure and order of providing the registered arms and ammunition to the employees of the service.
