Ashot Aharonyan, the Head of Public Relations and Information Department of the RA Police wrote in his Facebook page:
“Some media means circulate information about the alleged visits of the police officers to the homes of the activists on the eve of the civil imitative on planned for 11th September. This information is baseless and untrue.
The police carries out its functions and in the framework of its activities and conducts visits to the citizens’ homes if needed. And if any community police officer in the framework of such visits has paid a visits to an activist’s home, it does not have any connection with the public activities of the activist.
We urge the individuals who circulate rumors based on a simple coincidence to refrain from making conclusions and do not try to remind about themselves by unsuccessful attempts.”
