On 4 July, at 4.05 pm, Kanaker-Zeytun police department received a call from “Arabkir” ambulance substation informing that there was a dead woman in the house at 14 Kanaker Street.
The operative group that arrived at the place revealed that on 4 July, at 3:45, Vahana Karapetyan (DoB 1973) during the quarrel at home stabbed his wife Haykanush Sorsumatyanin (DoB 1977) the left part of the chest, and as a result the woman died.
Criminal case was initiated under the requirements of Article 104, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code.
Vahan Karapetyan is detained.
Forensic examinations are set.
