During the p[last ten days , the generation of independence irreversibly changed the logic of public relations and struggle in Armenia. The youth confirmed who is the real owner in the country, and what country do the real owners of the country. The logic is simple, a country where the man is in the central place with his rights and dignity; a country which is compatible in the region and worldwide; a country where the public has an attitude of intolerance, hatred and contempt against corruption; a country where the main values are justice, rule of law, integrity, honesty, spiritual wealth a number of other important values.
Fight against the rise of electricity tariff is not a social of revolt, it is not a struggle of poor against rich. This struggle is a struggle for justice, a struggle to break the corrupt system restore the legal system; a struggle to create an institutional framework for effective management and establish rule of law.
The authorities’ response is not adequate to the situation. It is difficult to convince the real owners of the country with temporary, and aimed to solve a problem of a momentum and the citizens’ pockets, as well as solutions that foresee application of force.
The authorities shall immediately initiate institutional reforms in a number of areas that regulate public relations: providing public services, the judicial system, law enforcement bodies, establish an independent and specialized anti-corruption body, endowing it with powers of investigation and preliminary investigation. Such solutions will provide opportunity to restore the broken trust and faith of the public in the shortest time, involving the real owners of the country in the most important functions, and at the same time to rapidly push out the corrupt officials from the systems.
There is no alternative, the ball is not in the pitch of the authorities. The civil society is waiting and self organizing. Whatever the authorities will not do or linger to do, will be quickly done by the civil society. It must be taken into account that the principle of the boomerang works unobstructed: it always returns.
