On 6 May, Chairman of the RA Constitutional Court, Chairman of the Specialized Commission on the Constitutional Reforms Mr. Gagik Harutyunyan, and the Member of the Commission V. Poghosyan, met with the Chairman of Union for National Self-Determination Paruyr Hayrikyan and the member of the Board of the Union Arkadi Vardanyan.
The conceptual approaches of the constitutional reforms which NSD had submitted prior to the meeting were the subject of the discussion.
They were considered important and worth of attention. The basic common approaches in ensuring the human rights, formation of the executive power based on democratic principles, and ensuring development of sustainable constitutional processes in the country were especially noted. The parties highlighted the need for further discussions as well.
