Situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line remains tense, the enemy continues violating the ceasefire regime intensively along the whole front line.
According to information of the Press service of NKR Defense Army in the period of 4 – 5 January, the enemy violated the ceasefire regime on the contact line of NKR and Azerbaijanian troops around 350 times. During that period the enemy made around 4300 shots towards the Armenian frontier troops from weapons of different calibers. The enemy’s armed forces used 60 mm grenade launcher (13 bombs) and grenade launchers RPG-7 (5 bombs) and AGS-17 (6 bombs).
The Defense Army adequately responded to the adversary’s actions and continues to confidently carry out their duty.
