Regarding the perspective of the tripartite meeting of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the Russian President, said that there are no clear hints about the tripartite meeting so far. RIA Novosti writes.
Peskov emphasized that other peacekeeping efforts aimed at regulating the situation are welcome.
He noted that Armenia remains Russia’s ally, and Armenians are a people close to Russians.
“Armenia remains our ally, we have a state, Armenians are a people close to us, and you know that more Armenians live in our country than in the whole of Armenia. We will continue to perform our functions, we will continue the dialogue with the Armenian side, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, we will also continue to work so that all the rights of the people of Karabakh are respected,” Peskov said.
