The spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry called the publications of some Armenian Telegram channels about the fact that 3,000 fighters of the “Wagner” Private Military Company are allegedly in Armenia and are preparing coup d’état and remove the Prime Minister of Armenia with the support of local forces. According to “Armenpress“, Maria Zakharova addressed this issue in a briefing held within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum.

Zakharova pointed out the unfoundedness of such statements and the complete lack of relevant photo and video materials.

“Where are they when it comes to this number of people?” After all, this is not a country with a billion population. The population of this country is not that big. If they saw those people, they would probably notice. All this is another category of mythology. I can describe it as a fake,” said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“Where are they if we are talking about so many people? After all, this is not a country with a population of a billion; it’s population is not that much. They probably would have seen these people, as they say, they would have spotted them. What are we talking about? This is all from the category of another mythology. I can simply classify this as fake,” the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
