“We somehow got out with the big “Ural”, it was a terrible situation, we were left halfway, we took almost nothing with us,” said Arevik Grigoryan within the framework of Iravaban.net‘s “Legal Issues of Artsakh Armenians in Armenia” series. She notes that they endured and waited hopefully that everything would be fine. They spent the 9 months of blockade almost hungry, struggling to find food, but still, they always had hope.
“I live in a rented place, with great difficulty, I have many debts. I haven’t been able to manage the house rent for three months now. I want to get registration, but one of my parents has gone missing. I need my father’s documents, but they can’t find them. I can’t afford to pay the house rent, especially since they’re cutting the support amounts,” she says.
