On 6 December, is Advocate’s Day and the 104th anniversary of the establishment of the advocates’ profession is celebrated. Advocacy, as an institutional system providing legal aid, was introduced in Armenia for the first time in 1918, during the period of the First Republic of Armenia.
The event organized by the Chamber of Advocates on the occasion of the holiday, which was held in the National Gallery of Armenia, was attended by advocates, lawyers, the Board of the Chamber of Advocates, and mass media representatives.
During the event, awards were presented to a number of media outlets, including Iravaban.net.
The site received a Certificate of Appreciation for active cooperation with the advocates, effective work with lawyers and proper coverage of legal issues.
It should be noted that during the event, 87 graduates received advocate’s licenses.
