At least 4 people were killed and 38 injured as a result of the explosion that took place on Istiklal Tourist Street in Istanbul. Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya announced. TASS News Agency writes.
“Four people were killed and 38 were injured as a result of the explosion that took place on Istiklal Street,” the message says.
Police, doctors, firefighters and ambulance teams were sent to the scene, the politician wrote on his Twitter page.
The Turkish TRT TV channel reported about the victims earlier. It is noted that the cause of the incident is currently unknown.
