Russian Foreign Ministry about the tripartite meeting to be held in Sochi

Russia expects that the tripartite meeting of the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan Vladimir Putin, Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev to be held in Sochi will allow progress on the way to signing a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko said. RIA Novosti wrote.

“There are still a lot of problems. I think, all of them will be discussed, including at tomorrow’s meeting in Sochi. We hope that it will somehow make progress on the path of a number of issues, including the signing of a peace treaty,” Rudenko told reporters.

Commenting on the statement of Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan that that a peace treaty could be signed before the end of the year, Rudenko noted: “Everything can happen in this life.”

“Since the leader of the state said, he probably had some grounds for this,” he said.
