The UN calls on Baku to show restraint and resolve the conflict peacefully, Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesman for the UN Secretary-General said.

“It simply came to our notice then. But we are definitely following the reports of the latest outbreak with concern. And we have to check those messages,” Haq said at the briefing.
“For now, we call on the parties to show restraint, to act in accordance with the trilateral statements of 9 November and 11 January, to resolve all concerns peacefully. We want to avoid any return to the escalation we have seen before,” he added.
