According to him, this situation is very worrying, “As the Minister of Health said, several hundred people are waiting for their turn to be hospitalized. Thus, if there is a person waiting for hospitalization, it means that we have a default state. This can lead to an increase in the number of home deaths, as the delta strain is quite aggressive. ”
The doctor emphasized that the mortality of the disease will increase. “We are facing rather tragic events.”
It should be reminded that as of 11:00 a.m. on 20 October, a total of 286,303 cases of coronavirus disease were confirmed, of which 256,525 recovered and 5,870 died. 22,670 patients are currently receiving coronavirus treatment. A total of 1,925,266 tests were performed.
Thus, 15,065 tests were performed yesterday, of which 2,066 new cases of coronavirus disease were confirmed. We have 704 recovered and 28 deaths.
The previous day, 3 cases of death were registered, when the patient had a coronavirus infection, but died due to another disease. The total number of such cases is 1,238.
