On 30 September, Armenian Ambassador to the United States Lilit Makunts had a remote format meeting with Congressman David Valado.
The RA Embassy in the USA reported.
“The interlocutors discussed a number of issues aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and in that context highlighted the role of the US Congress.
Ambassador Makunts presented to the congressman the challenges and the humanitarian crisis following the Azerbaijani aggression against the people of Nagorno Karabakh.
In this regard, the Ambassador thanked the Congressman for raising the above-mentioned issues, as well as for coming up with legislative initiatives,” the statement reads.
