During the live broadcast, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan spoke about the admission to the universities by the end of the academic year. He presented how the summaries of the academic year will take place, how the pupils will pass the final and joint exams.

“There will be no exams to be transferred from one educational level to another at the end of the 4th-9th grades in general education institutions. Based on the pupils’ marks transferred to the e-rtegister before 13 March, their annual grades are summarized, which are considered examinations, on the basis of which the pupils are transferred to the next level. There are no transfer exams in the 10th and 11th grades of high school, the summing up is done in the same way.”

The Minister mentioned that no final exams will be held in schools. “The summary takes place in the same way as in the case of 4th and 9th grades. Taking into account that some of the pupils passed the final exams in December of the previous year, they are given the opportunity to choose, keep the exam result or choose the annual grade as a test grade in the certificate. The summary is done and the certificates are issued before 25 May. There are no final diplomas or exams for colleges and vocational schools, the summary is done as in the case of school graduates. If the student does not have a grade in the second semester, the year’s mark is assigned as a result of the first semester of the academic year. The summary is done and the diplomas are issued until 5 June.”

As for the “Last Bell” events, Arayik Harutyunyan mentioned ․ “In connection with the “Last Bell” event, we have decided the following, as soon as the ministry tells us that the epidemic is no longer a danger, there will be no problem with restrictions, we will agree the day and hold that event.”
