The Fourth Garrison Investigation Department of General Military Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee carries out an investigation to find the circumstances out the death of a term soldier, junior sergeant Vardan Melkonyan.
The body of the soldier was found hanged on July 23, at about 06.30, in the neighboring area of N military unit of the RA Defense Ministry.
On the same day the Fourth Garrison Investigative Department initiated a criminal case according to Article 110, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code, an investigation plan was drafted and necessary investigation and judicial actions are undertaken to find out the circumstances of the soldier’s death. A forensic medicine examination was assigned.
