Armenia celebrates the Republic Day on 28 May.
Pursuant to Article 9 of the RA Law “On Holidays and Memorial Days in the Republic of Armenia” May 28 is a holiday and this it is a non-working day in the Republic of Armenia.
According to Article 147 of the RA Labor Code, on the eve of non-working days, holidays and memorial days, the duration of the working day is shortened by an hour. This point of the law does not apply employees who work part-time.
Pursuant to this article the business hours on May 27 will be reduced for one hour.
Thus, May 28, 30 and 31 are considered non-working days next week.
