On the decision of the Board of Directors of Union Internationale des Avocats, the Advisor on International Relations to the President of RA Chamber Advocates Martun Panosyan has been appointed to the position of the Advisor of the President of Union Internationale des Avocats.
The RA Chamber of Advocates informs that the Union Internationale des Avocats was founded in 1929 and is the oldest structure of its kind in the world. At present The International Association of Lawyers (UIA – Union Internationale des Avocats) brings together over 2, 000 individual members and 200 bar, federation and association members, from more than 110 countries. The UIA has enjoyed special consultative status with the United Nations and the Council of Europe since 1971.
The RA Chamber of Advocates joined the Union Internationale des Avocats in December 2015.
