Today the “Informed Citizens’’ Association” NGO filed an appeal to the Administrative Court with request to oblige the Prosecutor’s office to provide the copy of letter of RA Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan to the Prosecutor General of RF Yuri Chayka. The RA Prosecutor general’s Office had publicized information on sending the letter on 3 February.
The NGO statement says, “On 4 February we applied directly to the prosecutors Office with request to provide the letter. Although the law on Freedom of Information provides that the requested information must be provided within 5 days, the prosecutor’s office has not yet replied.”
