Today, on 20 January, the candle lighting in the memory of a six-months old Seryozha Avetisyan’s memory is going on in the Liberty Square.
The baby had got deadly bodily injuries as a result of the brutal murder of six family members in Gyumri on 12 January. The Armenian and Russian doctors were struggleing for his life for almost 7 days, but the child died yesterday.
People have been gathering in the Liberty Square since the morning and lighting candles. There are toys and flowers on the stairs. Many people that participate in candle lighting ceremony are unable to hold back their tears.
