The Press Service of the RA Ministry of Justice informs that on 11 December, the Deputy Minister of Justice Suren Krmoyan participated in the working discussion on “By-Laws regulating the Freedom of Information Sphere elaborated by the Ministry of Justice”, which was organized by Freedom of Information Center. These refer to the procedures of providing information, maintenance and classification of the information. Stressing the importance of such discussions, the Deputy Minister said that this format facilitated meetings contribute to having high quality and inclusive legal documents. According to him, the RA Government, represented by the Ministry of Justice, is ready to continue cooperation in this direction, organize discussions, listen to all interested parties, receive recommendations, which would raise the issues in order to give effective solutions it as soon as possible. “We worked with our partners to move forward step by step and try to work out a settlement which will ensure elimination of any gaps in the issue of providing information,” Suren Krmoyan noted, and added that in case of questions, and suggestions, they will consider those and make appropriate amendments.
