The RA Minister of Justice Hovhannes Manukyan met with the advocates of “Armros” Association of Armenian Lawyers in the framework of his two days visit to the RF. The association works in the sphere of legal services of the Russian-Armenian economic, trade, cultural and scientific fields. It joins the Armenian lawyers who work in the field of advocacy, in the Russian state apparatus, in the field of science and education and the law enforcement bodies.
The Minister referred to the goals and objectives of his visit and spoke about the results, and pointed out the main directions and priorities of cooperation with the RF.
Hovhannes Manukyan listened to the most important issues of concern of the RA citizens in the Russian Federation, in the opinion of the members of Association.
The advocates spoke about the peculiarities of providing legal aid to the RA citizens, the current problems, specifically those referring to the family, labor, civil status and some other issues. They also discussed the issues of providing legal services to the New Nakhichevan and Russian Dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church by the members of the Association.
The advocates assured that they were willing to strengthen the links with the lawyers in the RA and that there was a need of legal services for ensuring transactions and investments in Armenia and in Russia. They expressed readiness to cooperate with the RA lawyers in any format.
