Police warn: Do not trust in the internet acquaintance

Sofya K. born in 1982 reported to the General Department on Combating Organized Crime of the Police that on 13 March she got acquainted with Vardan through “www.odnoklassniki.ru” website. The latter, during the period of 18 March through 5 April, under the pretense of borrowing money, fraudulently stole from her a sum totaling to 1.573.000 AMD.

The undertaken operative-intelligence and investigation measures revealed that Vardan was Gevorg A. born in 1988, who was brought to the police on 18 August. Investigation is underway.
