While bringing Gevorg Safaryan to the Police Department, the police used disproportionate force against him, and as a result his health condition worsened. He was provided emergency medical aid and after that kept in such condition for five hours. Then Gevorg’s health condition again worsened and the second ambulance was called.

According to the record, Gevorg Safaryan is in the Second Clinical Hospital of Yerevan (Near Margaryan hospital), and currently he is provided medical aid. As a result of the force used by the police Gevorg has injuries in different parts of his body. His knee is seriously injured.
Notably, today after the incident that took place in Abovyan Grove, Gevorg Safaryan was brought to the Police Department and a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 316 of the RA Criminal Code was initiated against him. That is violence or threat of violence against a representative of authorities.
