The Code of the Republic of Armenia on Administrative Offense provides liability for driving the car over the established speed limit.
Under this Code:
1. Violation of the established speed limit from 1-10 km/per hour shall entail imposition of a fine in the amount of ten-fold of the minimum salary – 10 thousand AMD.
2. Violation of the established speed limit from 11-30 km/per hour shall entail imposition of a fine in the amount of thirty-fold of the minimum salary – 30 thousand AMD.
3. Violation of the established speed limit from 31-50 km/per hour shall entail imposition of a fine in the amount of fifty-fold of the minimum salary – 50 thousand AMD.
4. Violation of the established speed limit over 51 km/per hour shall entail imposition of a fine in the amount of seventy-fold of the minimum salary – 70 thousand AMD.
