On 17 June, the RA Police filed a criminal case on Harsnaqar incident. Several people have been arrested. The RA Ministry of Defense strongly condemns encroachment on any RA citizen, irrespective of the fact whether the victim is regular citizen, soldier of armed forces or an officer. Ministry of Defense shall keep an eye on the case and is completely confident that the culprits shall be strictly punished by the law. RA Ministry of Defense expresses its support to the victims and their relatives and ensures that shall not stay indifferent to such manifestations of brutality.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Armenia has abolished the decision to direct the Harsnaqar restaurant case to the investigative service of the Ministry of Defense. Sona Truzyan, Spokeswoman of the General Prosecutor’s Office informed “Pastinfo” that the case had been sent back to the investigation of the police.
The investigation is charged to Investigating Department of Yerevan city of the RA Police.
