An incident occurred in the Nerkin Khndzoresk section of the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border on April 10. NSS reported.

“The Armenian citizen, a shepherd, occurred in the territory of Azerbaijan while searching for the lost flock. There was a shooting by the border guards. As a result of the incident, the Azerbaijani side has one injured.

The Border Guard troops of the RA NSS are ready for a joint examination. Also the issue of why and how the shepherd and the flock crossed the border should be clarified.

The Azerbaijani side has returned the lost flock. The shepherd is also in the territory of the Republic of Armenia,” the message states.
