The Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Georgia will receive Immunity

According to the amendments, the discussion of which will begin on 26 February, at the session of the parliamentary bureau, the Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Georgia can be prosecuted, detained or arrested only with the consent of the Parliament, Sputnik Georgia reports.

If the Parliament does not give its consent within 48 hours, the arrested Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau should be released immediately.

The only exception will be in the event that the Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau is arrested while directly committing a crime. This should be reported to Parliament immediately.
