President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will not receive the Belgian foreign minister because of her pro-Armenian stance, Azerbaijani media reports.

To remind on 22 August, during the meeting with RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Hadja Lahbib emphasized her country’s support for the position of the European Union, according to which Azerbaijan should ensure the free movement of people and goods through the Lachin Corridor and implement the decision made by the UN International Court of Justice.

The head of the Belgian Foreign Ministry will arrive in Azerbaijan today, 24 August, as part of her visit to the region.

“Ilham Aliyev, according to tradition, receives foreign ministers of foreign countries who are on a visit to Azerbaijan. However, Ilham Aliyev will not receive the Belgian Foreign Minister because of her pro-Armenian stance,” the message states.
