Today, at 2:20 p.m., an alarm was received at the Kapan Police Department that a traffic accident occurred on the road to the Norashenik settlement of the Kapan Community. “PAZ” bus had fallen into the gorge.
The Police informs.
As of 4:10 p.m., 24 injured citizens with various degrees of physical injuries were taken to Kapan Medical Center. One of them, Tamara Davtyan born in 1970, died.
As we have already reported, Syunik Marz Governor Robert Ghukasyan said that the bus was transporting schoolchildren.
Note: A person that is suspected or accused of an alleged crime is considered innocent until his/her guilt is proved by a court judgment that has come into legal effect pursuant to the procedure determined by RA Criminal Procedure Code.
