The Russian side is concerned about the negative trends in the relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and will help in finding compromises, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said during a briefing in Moscow.
“We are certainly concerned about the negative trends that have appeared in the relations between Baku and Yerevan in recent weeks, the harsh rhetoric, the exchange of accusations, which is accompanied by the growing tension in the region,” she said.
“We call on the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides to show good will and seek joint compromises. We will provide all possible assistance,” added Zakharova.
