Putin discussed with Aliyev the implementation of Trilatteral Agreements

Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the implementation of trilatteral agreements between Baku, Yerevan and Moscow with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The Kremlin Press Service announced on 12 December, after a telephone conversation between the leaders, TASS writes.

The last time the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan had a telephone conversation on 22 and 26 November. Then the leaders discussed the implementation of trilatteral agreements, ensuring the security of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and restoring transport links in the South Caucasus.

“Some practical aspects of the implementation of the agreements signed between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on 9 November and 11 January, 2020 and 26 November, 2021 and 31 October of this year, including plans to restore economic and logistical ties in the South Caucasus, were discussed,” the message says.

The Kremlin noted that they also agreed on further contacts.
