Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Bishkek to participate in the EAEU summit. RIA Novosti writes.
On 9 December, the session of the Supreme will be held in Bishkek with a narrow and expanded format. The Presidents of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Prime Minister of Armenia take part in it. The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan will participate from the observer countries; the president of Cuba will make a video message.
Putin arrived at the building of the Congress Hall, where the event will take place.
It is planned that the activities of the Eurasian Economic Union will be discussed during the meeting; guidelines will be defined for the further deepening of integration processes, improvement of the functioning of the single market of goods and services. A number of decisions will be made, including in the field of energy and trade, and the main directions of EAEU’s international activities will be confirmed. The Russian delegation will outline the main priorities of its upcoming presidency in this organization in 2023.
