Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov held a joint press conference after the negotiations in Moscow. TASS writes.
It is expected that the diplomats will exchange ideas on a wide range of bilateral and international issues, including the settlement of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations.
As noted by the Russian Foreign Ministry on the eve of the negotiations, facilitating the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia at the highest level according to trilateral agreements is one of the priorities of Russia’s foreign policy. Moscow also welcomes the establishment of a bilateral commission on the demarcation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border and is ready to provide necessary assistance at the request of the parties.
