About 100,000 Russians remained in Georgia: Salome Zourabichvili 

After the announcement of mobilization in Russia, about 700,000 citizens left for Georgia, 600,000 of which moved to neighboring countries or Europe, and 100,000 remained in the country, Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili said.

According to her, more than 700 thousand Russians have crossed the border with Georgia since 21 September.

“After that, 600 thousand Russians left, probably to different countries, neighboring Armenia, Turkey and European countries. About 100,000 people remained,” she explained.

In addition, Georgia received about 30 thousand Ukrainian refugees, some of whom returned “when everything calmed down in Kiev”.

At the end of October, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reported that in the period of January – September there are 112 thousand 733 Russian citizens in the country.
