The relations between Turkey and Armenia will be positive if the relations between Yerevan and Baku are settled, while there is no positive picture, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said. The RIA Novosti writes.
Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu announced that he is ready for a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, but there is no specific date yet.
“Our last meeting with the Armenian side was in Prague, we openly said that if you (Armenia) regulate the relations with Azerbaijan in a positive direction, then the relations with Turkey will go in a positive direction. We expect that from Yerevan. No such image yet. Diaspora Armenians in France and the USA exert pressure, which is reflected in the process. Everything depends on the leadership of Armenia. We do not want enemies, we want friends,” Erdoğan said.
