RIA Novosti. Negotiations between representatives of Russia and Turkey on the creation of a gas hub will begin next week, a diplomatic source in Ankara informed RIA Novosti.

“In this regard, the leaders are expected to continue telephone diplomacy,” the source concluded.

Based on the results of these contacts, the presidents of the two countries, who personally control the process, will receive a detailed report.

Last Wednesday, Vladimir Putin at an energy forum in Moscow voiced a proposal to create a gas hub in Turkey.

According to Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the Russian leader Turkey’s reaction was “very positive, interested.”
