On 6 July, at 09:07, the Regional Crisis Management center of Aragatsotn was alerted that an explosion and a fire had occurred in one of the banks of Ashtarak city.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Two rescue teams from the fire-rescue squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications left for the scene of the incident.

According to initial reports, there is one dead and five injured. The victims were hospitalized in the hospital of Ashtarak city.
The fire was localized at 09:25.
