At the 29 June special sitting, the National Assembly elected Anna Vardapetyan, the Prime Minister’s Assistant, as the RA Prosecutor General. Vardapetyan will assume this position on 15 September, at a special sitting, by inauguration.
It should be noted that Anna Vardapetyan earlier held the positions of Advisor to the RA Minister of Justice, then the position of the Deputy Minister.

In 2017, when she held the position of First Deputy Head of the Judicial Department of the Republic of Armenia, Secretary of the Council of Court Chairmen, she declared 1 apartment (shared ownership, received as a donation in 2014) and AMD 2,512,150 income from 2 salaries. In the annual declaration of 2017, her income amounted to AMD 6,887,415 and EUR 3,000 from the received salaries.
In May 2018, she submitted a statement to terminate the position of the First Deputy Head of the Judicial Department of the Republic of Armenia, according to which her income at that time amounted to AMD 3,837,045 and EUR 900 from the received salaries.
On 4 April, 2019 , when Anna Vardapetyan assumed the post of Deputy Minister of Justice, she declared EUR 1,500 and AMD 2,748,999 of income from salaries and loans.
In the annual declaration for 2019, her funds in the bank amounted to AMD 322,074 and EUR 15. Revenues were:
- AMD 10,907,198 from the salaries received from the Ministry of Justice and from YSU,
- EUR 1,500 salary from the Council of Europe
- AMD 1,543,899 (loan).
When leaving the post of Deputy Minister of Justice, Vardapetyan declared:
- AMD 10,364,618 income from salaries, loan and donation,
- EUR 1500 from salaries received,
- AMD 829,207 in the bank account.
On 3 March, 2020, when assuming the position of Assistant to the Prime Minister, she declared AMD 268,643 and EUR 15 in bank accounts, AMD 1,153,196 income from salaries and loans.
In the annual declaration of 2020, she presented:
- 661,863 drams և 15 euros in bank accounts, 3
- 1,500,000 cash,
- Income of 10,810,063 drams received from 4 salaries, loans, and donations.
In the annual declaration for 2021, Anna Vardapetyan noted:
- AMD 215,453, and EUR 15 in bank accounts,
- AMD 4,500,000 cash,
- AMD 14,084,066 income received from two salaries and a loan.
On 30 May, 2022, Anna Vardapetyan’s husband Mamikon Grigoryan submitted the annual declaration for 2021, in which he mentioned:
- 3 apartments in Arabkir administrative district, 2 of which are solely owned, 1 is a shared property,
- Mercedes Benz car (2007 production, bought in 2014),
- AMD 12,306 in the bank account
- USD 2,514 in a bank account
- EUR 2,773 in the bank account
- 4,500,000 cash,
- AMD 3,553,310 income from salary,
- AMD 51,378 loan in HSBC bank.
