The French newspaper Le Monde has published the preliminary results of the second round of the French presidential elections.

According to them, incumbent President Emmanuel  Macron is the leader. Marine Le Pen accepted the defeat, the first results of the second round were greeted with dissatisfied shouts and “Marine, Marine” shouts at her headquarters.

It should be reminded that the second round of the presidential elections took place in France, the results of which will determine the winner who will lead the country for the next five years. According to the results of the first round held on 10 April, the French had to choose between incumbent President Emmanuel Macron, who is running for a second term, and Marine Le Pen, a candidate for the National Rally.”
