“Of course, we urge my guys to stay healthy, because we need them in a more healthy state. I hope that the goals they have set should be broader, more cosmopolitan, because we need it now. “The Armenian people have always been a cosmopolitan people, with its Matenadaran, its Etchmiadzin, with all its values,” he said.

Father Shahe mentioned that he tried to understand what the boys wanted.

“Thank God I had the opportunity to visit Nver and Arthur. I believe my guys are very good people, they will never lose the joy in their hearts, because Christ was the greatest joy that came and entered our hearts,” he said.

It should be reminded that Arthur Avagyan and Nver Kirakosyan, participants of the 44-day Artsakh war, have been on a hunger strike in Freedom Square since 18 April. Their goal is for a large number of generations of independence to join them, only then will they end the hunger strike.
