Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed to the idea of involving volunteers in Ukraine. Putin said this during a meeting with the permanent members of the Security Council. RIA Novosti reported.
“If you see that there are people who want to come on a voluntary basis, especially for no money, and help the people living in Donbas, well, what to do, it is necessary have to meet them and help them move to the war zone.”
He also accepted the proposal of the Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu to transfer the seized equipment of Western production to Donbas.
According to Putin, the “Western sponsors” do not hide the recruitment of mercenaries to take part in the conflict; they do so in open disregard of all norms of international law.
